New designs and materials used to make scleral lenses have vastly improved over the years allowing optometrists to find solutions for patients with vision problems as a result of some of the most complicated cases involving corneal disease and trauma. These lenses are now allowing patients who were otherwise frustrated and hopeless due to their irregular corneal conditions find answers and new hope to seeing again.

Unfortunately for these patients, typical glasses and conventional contact lens wear don’t work to provide the quality vision these patients are desperately seeking to regain in order to get their lives back and see again!
