Chad A. Carlsson, OD, FAAO
Dr. Carlsson has been dedicated to excellence in optometry since 2003, when he graduated with honors from Illinois College of Optometry and completed a Contact Lens and Binocular Vision Disorders residency program. During his residency, Dr. Carlsson worked to manage various forms of visual dysfunctions in children and adults, including strabismus, amblyopia, and other accommodative disorders.
He gained hands-on experience delivering advanced care, by treating and managing ocular pathologies such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and uveitis, anterior segment disease, and specialty contact lens fittings.
Carlsson Family Eye Center opened in 2006, making Dr. Carlsson’s dream of providing superior family eye care a reality. Dr. Carlsson is consistently recognized for his expertise and dedication to patient care. He’s earned Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (2008), was elected Young Optometrist of the Year (2013), and profiled in the AOA Focus Magazine (2014).
He’s also an Amazon bestselling author. Today, he is an active member of the Arizona Optometric Association and serves as Chairman of the AOA-PAC committee for the AZOA. Dr. Carlsson is responsible for gaining support from fellow AZOA members that meet with Congressmen on Capitol Hill to lobby for our patient’s best interests.
Dr. Carlsson enjoys serving his community as much as he enjoys serving his patients. He’s a member of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce and has served as Gilbert Kiwanis Past President serving Gilbert’s youth on a local and national level. And most recently, he became a member of the AHEPA men’s group to further his commitment to the community.
Dr. Carlsson and his wife Anne, who manages the Carlsson Family Eye practice, live in Gilbert and have 4 children.
Dr. Doreen Ng – Optometrist
Dr. Ng attended the University of California in San Diego for her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2009 and completed her Ocular Disease Residency at SUNY Optometry in New York City in 2010. She received her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2011 and continues to be an active member in the organization.
Her specialties include primary and pediatric care with an emphasis on glaucoma, retina and ocular surface disease. She fits a multitude of contact lenses and loves working with patients of all ages.
She is also involved with OneSight, a charity organization that provides free eye examinations and glasses to children in underserved communities. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and supports the Golden State Warriors. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Kyle Stott, O.D.
Dr. Stott is a versatile practitioner who enjoys practicing to the fullest extent of his scope. On top of performing routine vision care, Dr. Stott is skilled in detection and treatment of various medical eye conditions including chronic ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Dry Eye, and Diabetic Retinopathy. Additionally, he enjoys providing treatment for acute eye problems such as foreign bodies, infections, injuries, and red eyes.
